If you fail an APMG exam the first time around, don’t worry! Lots of our candidates have been in the same position. Our advice to you is, don’t take too long before you try again. Its worth waiting to see your result before you re-sit.

Some of our ATOs offer Foundation candidates an instant provisional result after their exam, so you will know your result straight away.

If you’ve taken your exam via an ATO, Practitioner results are sent to them within 48 hours. Your ATO will notify you of your result.

If you did not take your exam through an ATO, your results will be sent directly to you approximately 7-10 days after the date of your exam.

If you’re sure you haven’t passed, you can re-sit the examinations before your results are released if you want to!  If you sat your exam through an ATO you should contact them to re-arrange. They will probably advise you to wait until you get your result before you re-sit. You can also book an exam at one of our open centres.  Log into the open centre examination booking system on our website  and this will show the availability at our open centres.

Unfortunately there will be another exam fee payable, so if you are re-taking it’s worth revising again. See this post for our tips on revision. Although it talks about PRINCE2®, it is the same for any exam.

And remember… if at first you don’t succeed…
